Possibility to have a stabilizer integrated in the scan process (i.e. when you take photo check the motion sensor before shooting until the phone is reasonably steady).

When I capture small documents (e.g. receipts), the dpi is set to some default value, and they all print out HUGE when I send them to Evernote. Some way to give an estimate of the actual dpi of the document would be great.

Would be extremely useful to be able to organize the documents into folders and be able to keep the structure in sync with a dropbox account (replicating the structure).

When processing the pictures would be useful to be able to select a specific processing process by document type (i.e. B/W scan, Grey scale scan, Color scan, Whitepaper Picture, Photo, etc...) to improve overall picture quality and OCR results.

I just read so many good comments about application but I'd love to try it before i spend the $$. Will a 1 day trial be possible?

Some email accounts have limits on file attachments. Minimizing file sizes with 1-bit scanning will allow smaller attachments and storage requirements.

I suggest a feature allowing users specify the size of the pdf (or at least a percentage of what would be a full-size pdf). Otherwise, scans of small documents (e.g., restaurant receipts)turn into blown up pdfs two and three times their proper size. That makes things tough on secretaries submitting expense reports.

Please add sync with Google Documents.

The OCR-quality of german text is not very good, maybe there is the same problem with other languages than english too.
Default language could be get via iPhone settings and a picker could be added to OCR page.
This could help to add some language depended OCR-tuning.
Examples:
In german documents there are umlauts (öäüöäüß) which are not recognized by now.
There is also a very bad detection of "e" which is the most common letter in german. About 50% are detected as "c". This could be improved a lot by looking at surrounding letters.

With a presets page, implement one-click automated tasks :

- shoot a photo
- select area preset (full | center line |etc.)
- apply "preset image treatment #x" (default, bw, enhance, etc.)
- OCR, copy full result,
- apply "preset text treatment #y"
- output to "preset output #z" (text file save,text file add, email to "preset email #a", ftp, etc.)

The idea is making your excellent tool more simple and powerful.

For multi-page documents, would be useful to be able to take pictures of all the pages; then (later, maybe even hours later) be able to do the image processing.

it's very annoying to have to manually change these settings each time a scan is performed. Can you amend the app so user can set default settings for scanning and re-sizing?

Italian localization would be very appreciated

Enable the possibility to redo the full processing of the image without having to rescan the document (the perspective correction is "destructive", if later on you decide you want to redo it you can't without rescanning the document).
This could be implemented keeping in the database also the orginal picture toghether with the processed one.

Intelligent edge finder would scroll through different sets of possible edges, based on differences in color, not just 1 set of possible edges, as at present.

Add an option to export to JPG for the dropbox feature. Right now only PDF is allowed and that is very useful but JPG is a better format for some users.
